Chemical Processing
|
 | Bachelor's of Science Degree in Chemistry or Related Field |
 | Five Years "hands on" experience (preferably in the Aerospace Industry) with two or more of the following processes: Anodizing, Chemical Cleaning, Chemical Milling, Conversion/Phosphate Coating, Etching, Laboratory Evaluation, Paint/Dry Film Coatings, Plating, Stripping, Surface Prep Prior to Metal Bond, Surface Treatment/Passivation |
 | Five years experience as an auditor (Aerospace Industry Preferred) |
 | Thorough understanding of aerospace chemical processing specs, processes, and equipment |

Coatings
|
 | High School Diploma plus minimum of 10 years experience or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Materials Science and 5 years working knowledge |
 | Working knowledge of one or more of the following processes: Thermal Spray, Diffusion Coatings, or Vapor Deposition |
 | Thorough understanding of coating testing/evaluation |
 | Five years auditing experience in the aerospace industry |
 | Thorough understanding of aerospace coating specs, processes and equipment |
|
Composites
|
 | Three (3) years direct experience (aerospace industry preferred) in the following aspects of composites: basic physical, mechanical and chemical properties of composite materials; basic raw material testing methods; storage, handling and environmental controls; facilities experience (autoclaves, laser projectors, ply cutters); processing of various composite materials; bagging procedures and tooling requirements; nondestructive testing of composites (optional); composite properties testing (optional); chemical processing of composites (optional) |
 | Three (3) years experience (aerospace industry preferred) in at least two of the following major composite fabrication processes: Prepreg/Adhesive Bonding, Metal Bonding and Core Processing |
 | Auditing and Quality Assurance Experience |

Elastomer Seals
|
 | 3 or more years experience in Elastomer Seals (Milling, Compounding, Molding) Chemical Coatings, Adhesives, Wet Processing or other related chemical processing |
 | 3 or more years experience as a Laboratory Technician |
|
Electronics
|
 | High School Diploma plus minimum 10 years experience or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering and 5 years working experience |
 | Certification as a recognized Quality Auditor or auditing experience considered a plus |
 | Understanding of standards (IPC, J-STD, etc) in the following areas: Rigid Printed Circuit Boards, Flex Printed Circuit Boards, Circuit Card Assemblies, and Cable & Harness |

Fasteners
|
 | Minimum of three years direct experience (Aerospace Industry preferred) in the following aspects of fasteners: basic configuration, mechanical and metallurgical properties of fastener materials, basic raw material testing methods and verification methods, inspection (e.g. thread measurement, etc.), facilities experience related to fasteners (e.g. thread forming, forging/forming, fillet rolling, etc) and fastener drawings and specifications. Experience in the following special processes related to fasteners is preferred: Coatings, Nondestructive Testing, Materials Testing, Chemical Processing, Heat Treatment and, Nonconventional Machining or Shot Peening. |
 | Experience (Aerospace Industry preferred) in at least two of the following major fastener fabrication types: Internally Threaded, Externally Threaded, Non-Threaded, Inserts and Blind Fasteners. |
 | Auditor Candidate shall have second or third party auditing experience (Aerospace Industry preferred) related to the processes or Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) approved and/or International Auditor and Training Certification Accreditation (IATCA), or completed a certified Lead Auditor Training course. |

Fluids
|
 | 3 or more years experience in aerospace manufacturing (Machining, High pressure hose, Metal tube), quality assurance, engineering or related experience |
 | Knowledge of Hose Manufacturing, Fittings and other Machined Components, Couplings and Hose Assembly |
|
Heat Treat
|
 | Bachelors of Science Degree in Metallurgy or related field and 5 years heat treat or furnace braze experience, 3 of which are in the aerospace/defense industry |
 | Associate degree in a technical field and 7 years heat treat or furnace braze experience, 4 of which are in the aerospace/defense industry |
 | High School Diploma and 10 years heat treat or furnace braze experience, 5 of which are in the aerospace/defense industry |
 | Professional Engineer , Certified Quality Engineer, or Certified Lead Auditor |
 | Leadership in professional society (ASM, AWS, HTS, etc.) |
 | Understanding of AMS 2750 or Prime Contractor Pyrometry specification |
 | Familiarity with and understanding of aerospace heat treat or furnace brazing specifications |
 | Familiarity with heat treat equipment |
 | Familiarity with and understanding of testing of heat treated material or product. |
| Heat Treat or Furnace Braze Experience = Operator, Supervisor, Technician, or Engineer with direct exposure to heat treat or furnace braze equipment, qualification, procedure qualification, or technical problem resolution. |

Materials Testing
|
 | Bachelors of Science degree in Materials Science/Engineering or Chemistry/Chemical Engineering |
 | "Hands-on" experience as a technician or engineer (preferably in the aerospace industry) in a testing laboratory with a range of equipment and manufacturers |
 | Seven (7) years auditing experience in the aerospace/defnse industry |
 | Knowledge of aerospace and defense quality system requirements |
 | Working knowledge of military and industry specifications (ASTM, S-400) |
 | Current Technical knowledge of: Chemical and Mechanical Test Methods, Calibration Procedures, Relevant Industry Standards, Processing, Inspection and Testing |

Nondestructive Testing
|
 | Degree in Engineering, Science or a related field or the equivalent |
 | Qualified to Level 3 (or equivalent) in at least 2 methods (UT, RT, PT, MT) |
 | Five (5 ) years technical experience in NDT |
 | An excellent understanding of the ASTM's as they relate to Nadcap |
 | Strong Aerospace experience (including aerospace quality assurance systems) |
 | Field Auditing Experience |
 | The willingness to work and travel as a consultant |

Nonconventional Machining
|
 | BS degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemistry or Related Field |
 | Minimum two (2) years of "hands on" experience (preferably in the Aerospace Industry) with one or more of the following non-conventional machining processes: Electrochemical Machining (ECM), Electrochemical Grinding (ECG), Electrochemical Drilling, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) or Laser Beam Machining (LBM) |
 | Field auditing experience (Aerospace Industry Preferred) |
 | Understanding of SAE, AMS and Prime Contractor non-conventional machining specifications |
 | Understanding of General Quality Systems requirements (AS9000, AS91000, ISO 9000, QS 9000) |

Sealant
|
 | 3 or more years experience in Sealants, Chemical Coatings, Adhesives, Wet Processing or other relating chemical processing |
 | 3 or more years experience as a Laboratory Technician |
 | Knowledge of Two-Part Polysulfide Sealants, Silicones and Fluorosilicones, Polyurethanes, Adhesion Promoters, Coatings and Coating Processes and Peel Panels, Shear Specimens, and Tensile Bars |

Surface Enhancement (Shot Peening)
|
 | BS degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemistry or Related Field |
 | Minimum two (2) years of "hands on" experience (preferably in the Aerospace Industry) with one or more of the following Shot Peening processes: Automated Shot Peening, Computer Controlled Shot Peening, Flapper Peening, Peen Forming, or Manual Shot Peening |
 | Field auditing experience (Aerospace Industry Preferred) |
 | Understanding of SAE, AMS and Prime Contractor Shot Peening specifications |
 | Understanding of General Quality Systems requirements (AS9000, AS91000, ISO 9000, QS 9000) |

Welding
|
 | Degree in Engineering, science or related field, plus 5 years experience in aerospace welding processes (preferred), or alternative qualifications with relevant experience may be considered acceptable |
 | Knowledge of aerospace and/or automotive quality assurance systems |
 | Knowledge in computer programs such as Windows and MS Word (must have access to or own PC or laptop) |
 | Must have working knowledge of Fusion, Resistance and Electron Beam Welding |
 | Familiar with any of the following is a plus: Torch/Induction Brazing, Laser, Friction/Inertia, Flash/Pressure Butt, Diffusion or Stud/Percussion, Foundry in Process/Casting Repair |
 | Certification as a recognized Quality Auditor or auditing experience considered a plus |
 | Professional certificates such as Professional Engineer, Certified Weld Inspector, Member of a Professional Institute are considered a plus |
 | Excellent communication skills, a working knowledge of aerospace and automotive specifications and the ability to travel are necessary for success in this position |
